AUSTIN, Texas – July 12, 2025 – Altogen Labs has published detailed documentation of its ADME and DMPK capabilities, giving sponsors a complete view of the pharmacokinetic and metabolic work available alongside the company’s efficacy and safety services.
An IND package is only as strong as its weakest component. A compound with compelling xenograft efficacy data will still stall if absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion have not been characterized, or if the exposure achieved in the efficacy study cannot be reconciled with the toxicology exposure. Running these workstreams in separate laboratories introduces exactly the inconsistencies that draw regulatory questions.
Altogen Labs offers flexible study designs and expedited research programs covering pharmaceutical development of a compound, drug efficacy, ADME and metabolic studies, accelerated IND applications, and both in vitro and in vivo toxicology. Pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic services can be integrated directly into efficacy xenograft studies, with tissue and plasma collection scheduled against dosing to support exposure-response analysis.
The company performs acute, sub-chronic, and chronic toxicity studies, in vivo LD50 determination in mice and rats, and OECD-guideline testing including acute oral toxicity, repeated-dose oral toxicity, acute dermal toxicity and irritation, acute inhalation toxicity, toxicokinetics, chronic toxicity, and carcinogenicity protocols.
All work is conducted at the company’s GLP-compliant, IACUC-regulated Austin, Texas facility. Both GLP and non-GLP formats are available, allowing sponsors to run economical pilot work and pivotal regulatory studies in the same laboratory and the same model system.
