AUSTIN, Texas – August 22, 2024 – Altogen Labs has published list of OECD-guideline toxicology studies, giving sponsors a single reference for the internationally harmonized protocols available at the company’s Austin, Texas facility.
The published menu covers acute oral toxicity (OECD 425), acute dermal toxicity (OECD 402), acute inhalation toxicity (OECD 403), acute dermal irritation (OECD 404), repeated-dose oral toxicity (OECD 408), toxicokinetics (OECD 417), chronic toxicity (OECD 452), and carcinogenicity (OECD 453).
Guideline adherence is what makes safety data portable. A study run to OECD 425 is recognized across regulatory jurisdictions; a study run to an internally devised protocol may need to be repeated. For sponsors planning submissions in multiple territories, that distinction has direct cost and timeline consequences.
